That Cobra will be gone in the first 2-3 days you seriously put it up for sale. You have already had tons on interest on the local boards you posted this on. You and I need to take some pics before she goes.

Sorry to hear you go but I understand 100%. I love my mustangs but you can't beat all the engineering that goes into the Vette's. I wish ford would do a redesign, which would keep the weight & cost down with performance up. It sucks that our only alternative ford would be $60K Brute which still gets beat by slightly modded vette's. I strongly emphasize BRUTE because that’s what they are. That’s also IMO, what can make them so fun to drive.

On the flip side the mustang has always been the average mans muscle, well priced, well optioned and a big aftermarket. I'll feel proud when a 30k mustang hangs with 80k + cars. My buddy (Doughboy4.6) has a 01 GT he paid 8k for, Mint body and interior, forged internals 3k, Vortech & tuning 4k, with basic mods (cams etc.) and tears up C5 Zo6 on the strip and street. For fewer than $20k he makes C5's feel stupid.

I suppose it'd be hard to argue that if you're looking for a 'turny' car that a Vette is generally a better choice than a Stang.

You sure did'nt have that car very long though did you?

other than that,, there's not much else to say other than

you *** [8D]

Cobra is now in the for sale section. Sad to see it go. I had it for almost a year.

But, I'm looking forward to moving forward with the C5 Z06 this year

im doing the same thing as you man, trying to selll the terminator for another vette, but ill prob get just a base c5 and throw a procharger, and honestly your making a good choice with going with the c5 z instead of the c6, i love mine but the c5 z is more of a "race car" than the c6 imo

BP, I'm not sad about purchasing a Z06... thats the great part Its still gonna be a lil sad seein the cobra leave my house.

The C6's brake pads just turned me away from them. That, and I can't afford a C6 Z06... just too much money for me.
