Looks like progress is being made. Why don't you take wiring harness out. Its only a ten mm bolt and out comes the whole harness.

You should clean your engine bay up before and after you put the new engine in.

Time for a tubular k member and what not.Take a look atthe steering rack. Paint and wiring issues should be addressed. Time to yank the AC if you never use it like me.

 

+1 on the k member and degrease and pressure wash that bitch!!!!!!
