most mods will depreciate the value of a car, unless it's something big like a new motor, trans, or a blower. don't expect more than like 1/3 of what you paid though.

 

Because sometimes at work I get bored and just like to see if people are telling the truth about the car they own and if they really have a license.

Yeah I was out of line alright, I was being freaking serious. My younger Brother is your age and has been working since last July and has saved up a nice chunk of change, he just dont know if he wants to buy a Fox body or keep saving for a newer Stang.

I think it is listed at a little of 13k right now from a private seller, lowered, rims, exhaust. So I am thinking I can probably get almost as much out of my car as I would need for this car. Good deal? 03 gt with 48k for a 99 cobra with 48k, basically same mods....

 

i know someone selling his 2001 cobra with 22k on the clock for 13k (need tires) so i would say about 12,500 max you should pay..

 

The real question is whether it is worth 13k to you. Honestly that is not a bad deal imo. Go on autotrader or one of those sites and see what similiar cars are selling for in your area. I had mine up for sale, but no takers at 15k + 2000 cash to the buyer. I'm working on paying down the loan and will relist it this summer for more like 12.5k Again like I said look at the competition in YOUR area.
