is there anyway the dealer can use the on board diagnostics computer to tell if i've raced my car before even if just a few times? or does the computer just tell data like overall average speed and overall average shift rpm, or is much more precise?

 

only way is if you put a chip in it

dosent matter if you pull it out, it is saved no matter what

chip = tune(more power) = prolly raced it


but who cares?

 

Ford will if he has a warrentee issue if thats why he is asking, thats the only reason I can see why it would be an issue.....

Gee Mr. Ford tech..... I have noooooo idea how or why that connecting rod went through the side of the block, I wasn't going fast, honest. I drive like a little old lady and obay all speed limit signs.

BTW, also ignor those steel lines that go into or around the intake.....

well if you put a rod thro the motor tell them you gassed it to pass someone, or were entering the highway and needed to match traffic speed.

if its warranty work some things will void warranty so you may have to return stuff to stock. nitrous lines hooked up would be a definate no no
