installing gears

approximately how long does it take a shop to install gears on our cars?

I do not know exactly how long, but a shop near me qouted me at 270 and all i need to bring is the gears. He supplies the lube and everything needed for install. So i'm guessing around 3-4 hours.

Should take a few hours. It depends on the brand sometimes. I know motives are a bit tougher to get set correctly than Ford Racing is. But 3-4 hours is a good average time.
