Default Stalling....?

I just picked up my 2000 GT today and when I sit idle (at a light or stop sign) it doesnt get enough gas and stalls out. It doesnt always stall out but over the course of driving 13 hours today (highway) it stalled out 3 times when I was pulled over getting gas. It needs to have its spark plugs changed. Could that make any difference or couldnt it be the spark plugs? I thought at first it was just bad gas but Its not the gas. Should I run some gas cleaner through it or something?

It does it whether I hold in the clutch or if it sits in neutral. Thanks for help.

Wouldn't it be just your luck if someone before you installed a tune, to run on 92 octane fuel, and you didn't know it and you were putting in 89 octane...I'm not saying thats your problem. It would just baffle the hell out of me if it were my car and thats what the problem was.

It has a hypertech handheld tuner and the previous owner was my brother but yeah I thought that maybe he had the wrong setting on or something. Ill plug it in tomorrow and see. Any input is much appreciated!

He said he never noticed a problem though so I think it just started happening. I dont think he would lie to me but I could be wrong.
