I have a 00GT 5 speed and am looking for the best bang for my buck...

If any of you guys were on a tight budget with a basically stock GT what would you look to do first for substantial down low gains? Basically I've heard the following:

1. 4:10 gears----but can i install these with help?
2. Midpipe?
3. I dont think I will have the money for a supercharger, but where is the best place to find one, ebay?

Am I on the right track? and any suggestions are welcome

 

Depending on your area, I would buy o/r H pipe or X pipe. CAI maybe a tune. Everybody has their own budget.Mine was $6,000 so I could splurge some.

 

Does a CAI really o that much? I mean right now a have an under bumper ram air kit w/ a K&N and I have a hard time understanding how a CAI would really be beneficial...but I do see a lot of guys that buy them. If someone could fill me in that would be great.

 

your kit is fine, cai is for looks...you will get the same gains with a stock airbox with a silencer delete and a k&n
