I just purchased a Diablo Sport tuner off Ebay. I immidietly regreted getting from ebay instead of another sight but I cant return it now so oh well. My question is I got the U7000 but I saw on the Diablo sight that the actual98-04 mustang tuner is 7145 or something like that, but when I plugged it in it still said mustang on it, does anyone know if there is a big difference? Also are you guys seeing a big difference with a tuner?

 

is U7000 for 05-08 stangs?? or is that for 03/04 cobra or something???

i dont think it will work even though it lights up. to USB connection will still b the same, but i dont think the computers are even somewhat identical. ya get what im saying???

and if your an auto, it will make a HUGE difference.

my manual, idk if it made a difference or not. it pulls a little harder all throughout the powerband

im sure you can sell the tuner on this site.. and check out tbirdscwdhe is selling a diablosport for 99-04 and its only 250 shipped. not a bad price considering u probably paid around 300 from ebay

 

U7000 is what Diablo ships to all their dealers. They are shipped as blanks and then the dealers load the files needed for their customers car.

Example: someone comes in with a 2004 mustang GT, the dealer just loads the U7146 software to a U7000 and now they have a working tuner.

Its their way of making it easier for the dealers, so they don't have to keep all the different part numbers in stock. This is not BS this is actually the response I got from Diablo. (I have a U7000)

 

I just read that on the Diablo site too about them loading the proper tunes into it. I feel alotbetter. Thanks for the info.
