Why would someone do this
I use to work in a tire place and we dealt with a lot of nice rims and never were able to pull that off.... but there was this one time a new guy didn't get the rim on the tire machine right and scraped the hell out of the rim, this will cause the tire to bind against the rim when they are spinning it around and slip around the clamps which are usually missing the rubber pads and have teeth like pilars on them. So, if they did this, they may have thought it might have been a good idea to take a polishing brush to it and try and buff it out. This is what I think, take it for what it's worth.

Someone make those pics smaller. I can't scrolling side to side to read. Especially for 3+ lines of a post.
Anyway, why won't your dad let you go back? Is he a ***** or something and refuses to stand up to people when they **** him over? Or does he just want to see you ****ed over? **** your dad, go there and **** some **** up at that place. I hate when businesses are ****ing stupid like this.
Like timeformiller was saying, you're supposed to clean with solvent (I usually use brake cleaner) and a rag to put sticky weights on. And if your rims were brand new, there shouldn't have even been a reason to clean them.

alright so i went to a different NTB today and had my 18x10 mounted. and they look perfect. i talked to the tech in the back and he said between me and him that it looked like they put the weight on wrong and it left gouge marks.. so they took a dyegrinder and tried to blend it in. so my dad went to the other store today and chewed the guys out working and they even lied and said that the boxes werent open when they got the rims. but they were cause i took alot of pics of them. all in all i think ill end up with two new rims i trust the BBB.. and my dad said if the BBB doesnt take care of it were going to get a lawyer (we have one in the family) so im not that pissed anymore. i just wanna know how they could f them up that much lol

so about an hour ago the guy that messed up the cosmetics on my rims called and asked for where i bought them and the model # etc. that they would be replacing them! so im pretty happy that im getting two new ones again.. i have to give them the ruined one but i dont carel.. the BBB is nothing to mess with as posted earlier. hopefully they wont mess these 2 up. hah i bet it was hard for the guy that ruined them and lied to my face about it to call and say they were replacing them!
they didnt even do that good of balance either... they did an alloy 2 i believe and they didnt put the weights toward the front of the rim that close, they are near the middle. they would have almost been better off doing a static. lol.
the BBB wont do anything..... You can Join the BBB for a certian amount of money per year lol.. and that way if u get them called on you, O no they are part of the BBB....(at least in tampa area thats how it is).
