So I went and got 2 of my rims mounted today, im only 18 and im low on cash so im only doing 2 at a time. well thank god i didnt get all four done. i got my saleen s style rims from am.com and they looked mint when i got them. mint when i give them to National Battery and Tire. They were still in all packaging, obviously i took them out to check them out but thats it. well this is what i get back....it looks like they took a grinder to them or something i have no idea why. soi call them and they lie their asses off on the phone and say the rims came that way and its from the company that made them. "thats where the rim conjoined"..so anyone know why they might have done this. if there is no reason im about to file this to the better business bureau(sp). ughh

You should tell the Forum where that NTB is located so other members in that area can avoid it. I know you're frustrated, but looks like you're screwed on that one.

 

thanks for posting the pics, and yeah i have a ton of pictures of the outside but not inside i thought maybe theyd f up the front but not the inside and not that bad and yeah its located in Euclid,Ohio on Lakeland Blvd.

 

Sorry to hear about that. I just got new rears put on myself, and I know the place I took them to was busy( there always busy )and my rims are sorta messed up because of the salt from the roads, so I wasn't too mad when they gave me mycar back with dirty finger prints all over the rims.

 

i just filed a complaint with the better business bureau so hopefuly they can take care of it. im contacting their main building in Atlanta also. Wish me luck

bring them back and be like are you kidding me!!!!... i know damn well for the weights they put on they have to clean the surface of the rim..BUT WITH SOLVENT AND A RAG...they took a god damn grinder and wire brush to it...tell them u want them to replace the rims and dont leave until they do so... NO WAY IN HELL THEY SHOULD BE USING A GRIDING TO CLEAN THAT SURFACE FOR A WHEEL WEIGHT TO STICK!!!.....hell if u could even get a lawyer id do it..your NOT screwed..GO do something about it..!!!

 

yeah i am but being 18 still living at home my dad doesnt let me do anything like that. its his way or no way...kinda gay and i just took another pic of the other rim here it is...not as bad but still and that spray mark wont come of either..i have no idea what the hell it is but its from them.

Dont tell your dad that you area going, and go back there now!! If I were you I would be raising hell over there to get my money back/ new rims! Good luck though, it definitly sucks.
