I'm currently in the market for a s/c and i was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable speed shops in the area? I've been looking at threads and manuals regarding what all is required but i would like to bring the info to a mechanic to make sure that i get everything that is required. I'm thinking that i'm gonna use this thread; https://mustangforums.com/m_3332042/tm.htm;but haven't decided if i'm gonna go with a used or new head unit. Any thoughts on new versus used?

NOLA was once home... if you find a good performance shop i would like to know. I thinK NOLA has some of the most incompetent mechanics around haha.

Katrina did it's toll but we are rebuilding. As for shops some people say Stanghi is good.

thanks for the reply; but i would like someplace that is in New Orleans. Stanghi's website said that it was in baton rouge. Does anyone else know of a local speedshop?

I can't think of any. I don't know how good stanghi is, I only bought my XCal2 from him but it couldn't hurt to talk to him and see what he offers. Baton Rouge is what... an hour or so from N.O.? I know of people that drive acrossed the US to go to a good shop.

thanks, there is still much work to be done but it seems like the rest of the country thinks we don't even have power or running water, lol. I'm not referring to you, but I've heard it from various other people.
