Default tranny flush

so while i try to install my MGW i wanna go ahead & change my tranny fluid. I know the tranny has a plug under the car. Now to put in the new tranny fluid do i pour it trough the area where my stock shifter was???? or is there another area??? thanks guys!!!

there's a fill hole on the passenger side of the tranny (at least it's on the passenger side on my '02), but you're not going to be able to get a bottle and funnel anywhere near it. you'll need some sort of pump with a hose to pump the fluid in there. i do believe that you can just pore it in the top before you put the new shifter on. if you've got the shifter out, that's what i'd do. just be sure not to overfill it.
