Im about to buy a mustang with deep dish rims, I obviously havent got to clean it myself yet but heres a picture. I took my fingernail to it but it didnt really move.Im guessing it will come off but i would like to know.

 

To me that looks like it will come off, as long as the acutal chrome is not damaged....you can tell if it feels really rough. Looks like dirt and grime to me though. What is reason for buying and are you selling also?

 

There is definately dirt/grime on there. It also looks like some of the clear coat on the wheel has chipped off and the dirt can get underneath the actual clear coat itself. I had the problem with my last set of wheels.

 

Looks like the clear coats pitted... You're going to have some strong fingers and forearms ofter your done cleaning those.

And a kid totalled my car, turned right into me, ****ed it all up. So im buying this stang this week if all goes well. Just waiting for my check. When i get it n wash it all up ill put pictures, i dont wanna jynx myself.
