yea...thats a given, but if it still runs good and only needs minor things then I think its a good buy. I'm gonna have a mechanic check it out cause I dont know too too much about it...even though I do know a LOT about Mustangs.

You said it has 40k miles on it? It can easily still have the factory stock tires on them.... If it does that would be a good sign.

If you have never driven it then i would highly suggest doing so before you put too much thought into it. An 03-04 cobra will feel completely different than your car.

You an always change the look and power of your car. But like the others have said... You KNOW your car... You dont know a single thing about the cobra.

true...I do know some because it's one of my friend's brother's car. I know the guy who tuned it and did the porting on the blower as well. After I get closer to being able to sell my car and get the cash I will be thinking more about what I wanna do and I will definitely drive it before I buy it since I know the people selling it. The tires I'm not worried about cause I have some rims I'm gonna put on it. The one's in my sig.

if you do this, make sure they are willing to hold onto the cobra! if you sell your car and that cobra is already sold you will be hard pressed to find another cobra for 18k

This is the right section for it homeslice. [8D]

The problem is, the car is modified and not running. I would get this guy to fix whatever is needed, then look at it unless you don't have a problem with fixing the car and hoping everything with the motor is okay.
