so i just bought two wheels on ebay 03 chrome cobras...the description said one wheel has some acid stains on chrome coating...i just opened the box and the one wheel has dime size spots all over it.tan in color...its smooth i dont think it ate thru chrome just discolored it...heres the auction page click

lols, how can you be mad at buying something from ebay when you already knew one of the rims were less than perfect. Just goto a wheel shop and see if they can resurface it, you're looking at about 75-125 depending on what needs to be done.

 

im just mad at the fact in the pics on ebay you couldnt see any of this....you dont think there is any cleaner or anythign i can use?

 

I'm not certain cause I've never had chrome rims (don't like them) heh whenever I have any kind of chip in my rims I just apply touchup paint^^. Call and ask a detail shop and see if they know.

 

you cant blame someone else for that. i only see pics of the passenger side wheel unless he took them offbut you should have asked to see pics of the damaged wheel.

 

kinda missleading on the auction by the pics, but it did say there was acid spots. I can see why you would be pissed though. call/go to a shop like they said above.
