have you tried to just polish it out with some chrome cleaner? If it isn't chipped then you might be able to make it not as noticeable! they have polish out there that is just for chrome, pick it up and try it out.

p.s. always think that someone is trying to pull a fast one on ebay. you need to make sure to check every last detail out before you get something from their. its sad how many people mislead others on ebay. there was one time I got "4 point seat belts" from ebay for them to only send me one belt. I was pissed because he even said belts plural so it was very misleading but ebay wouldn't do anything about it because it didn't directly say it came with 1 or 2 and the A** was charging almost 2xs everyone else! thats part of why I never shop ebay anymore, I only go on their for "new in the box" things. if I am getting something used I try to find it locally first or at least from somewhere trusted.

Personally, I would use any chrome cleaner. Over time it will eat away the finish. Try some soap and water first. If that doesn't help at all, post this in the detailing section. They may be able to give you some other options.

Try some chrome polish.

It states right in the listing that is has acid spots. The pictures are misleading, but the description isn't. You did buy damaged goods from e-bay and now you're upset with how damaged they were. Kinda silly. [8D]

I think you need to get your eyes checked....
Just from looking at the very first pic you can see some of the damage on the bad wheel.

The second good wheel looks clearly better...

Those two pics are enough to make me ask for more pics before I bid...

I work at a detail shop and I say you use some good chrome polish, and go to town with a mothers powerball. You shoulb be able to clean it up. Try this before getting it re dipped it is a lot cheaper and you could besuprised with your results.
