Default shooting fire out..

so tonight when i downshifted i threw flames out my back end.. buddy behind me told me it looked bad ***...after words we tried doing it again and had very little successes...any one know how this is supposed to be done?

You probably just tagged the limtier etc. Cars with mods will occasionally do this, espcially while shifting hard etc... doesn't nessicarrly mean the car is running rich, epsically if it rarely does it.

Drill some holes at the end of your exhaust system, put in a spark plug, hook it up to an electric source with a switch in the middle, adjust your air/fuel ratio to run rich, rev it up a couple times and on deceleration, time it right, throw the switch, and roast some marshmellows

I wouldnt recommend it on a stang... but this how old schoolers did it.

Oh yeah... if you dont time it right, the explosion comes out in the opposite direction, i.e. towards your motor. Not good at all.

+1 it happens to me somtimes i think its because of the o/r x pipe.

ya my buddy was behind me and told me it happend (didnt' plan on it) and then after words we tried different ways of doing it again and had a few little ones come out but nothing like the first one. oh well was cool and id rather not blow myself up in my car either lol

i managed to shoot flames on a downshift one time but it never happend again after that
