Suspension Build up

HA. Me and you are about as opposite as they come. lol
I bought my GT with an IRS in it, and ripped it out for a Solid axle. It just didn't cut it at the strip. But it sure was nice for daily driving. It rides so smooth. I'm no handling enthusiast, but it did well. I think that'd be perfect for you. Just get ready for the wheel hop. You'll know what I mean.

Yeah, I know, but how much it will cost doesn't bother me, as long as I can do all of the work. It would be really nice if I could switch over to a T-56, but the auto works pretty well for what I use it for. I actually wouldn't mind trading for a WS6, or an 03 cobra or something along those lines, but that won't be happening any time soon. Right now its dialed in pretty well for going around corners, I don't think it actually has a spool, pretty sure its just a limited slip.
I liked Aereon's idea of going with an IRS, so I'll try and find a cobra owner that wants to switch over before I start looking to buy one

I really would love it with just a T-56 swap, they are so much more fun than an automatic, no matter how you swing it. I just couldn't justify spending just as much to ship a t-56 as it was to buy the damn thing. Who knows, I know this billionaire that wants to trade one of his cars for mine, so maybe Ill do that
depends on your definition of expensive. Ive spent 5k on an already completely modded car, so it really doesn't phase me, but a few hundred bucks or so might be expensive to you.

Hah, its the guy that used to own the company that formed DHL, I think he sold it for like 2 billion dollars. As my dad says, he has more mony than God, he has like 18 hot rods, and almost all of them are Chevrolet's, but hes a cool guy none the less
I would def. call up Griggs. They seem pretty knowledgeable. I am aiming for a good all-around performer at the strip and street. I think a tubular K-member is def. a good idea. saves some good weight.

The tubular K member would be a good idea, the company that was featured in a recent install in one of the magazines who makes one is in phoenix, only a couple of hours away from me, so thats definately doable
