lol i just went in my garage and looked at my stock air tube since its in the box the jlt rai came in. and there are CLEARLY ribs on the INSIDE AND OUTSIDE of the tube. i'd suggest you go look again.

 

here you go....look at this pic and tell me those ribs arent also on the inside lol i searched "stock air intake 04 mustang gt" on google images (page 2) to find the pic. looks like the pic came from a pretty geh site....but it serves its purpouse. look at the "ribs" by where you put in the oil. they are on both inside AND out.

+1, I don`t have any ribs on the inside of my stock `00GT setup.

 

i just took out my air silencer and thts pretty much like a cai. And why would they ribb the inside of the rubber leading to the throttle body that would be stupid?

 

whats cai stand for and wtf is it lol
