can i just get the gears them sleves or do i NEED to buy other things to not damage my car

i got 62k miles and bascailly stock

im guessing i need to buy the lubricant but i dont think im getting the speed cal and hope i dont NEED the bearing kit

 

You don't need the bearing kit unless you think the bearings need replacing. To do a buget install all you'll need isa crush sleeve, some silicone to reseal the cover and some new fluid along with a tube of friction modifier. If you buy ford racing gears then most likely you won't have to reshim them.

 

i thought ford racing and motive performance was the same

and so i should be good with just the gears adn install kit which is an extra 39 bucks on am

plus a good mechanic
