Default Turning isnt responsive

I bought my car with a steeda swaybar, kenne brown FLSFC's, MM CC plates and tokiko shocks struts and lowering springs. my car handles very well but when i move the steering wheel over a little bit, it isnt as stiff as i want it..

i know other cars are MUCH more responsive than this... if i move my friends BMW's steering wheels a quarter of an inch to the right or left, ill slide in my seat.

how do i get that feeel?

i hope this made sense lol

First of all you must remember IT IS A MUSTANG, it is hard to get your car to handle and feel like an import. But with all that aside look at a flaming river steering shaft or any shaft that doesn't use a rag joint like the stock one or if it does have a rag joint make sure it is a hard plastic one, like polyurathane or teflon. the Stock rag joint will flex when you turn the wheel and makes it feel sloppy.

basically, yes.... If you open your hood and look to the right of the engine block you'll see it.

Just buy a solid shaft steering column from MM and be done with it!

Just need about 4 degrees more of caster. And new spindles and shock towers which give more kingpin angle. And then a new rear suspension.

Then you'll have the BMW of mustangs...

just kidding of course. but stangs have pretty good steering, even compared to a vette imo.

Solid steering shafts and bushings will help slightly. But it won't get you what you are looking for which is lateral G's per degree of steering wheel angle. That takes susp geometry changes. And i want it too after driving a porsche. Damn germans!
