i have always had drag radials on my car ever since i bought it. i got shocks/struts first and started to have some wheel hop after they were installed. i did cut better 60s with the shcoks/struts but after the upper and lower controle arm install(upr) the wheel hop went away and the car felt so much better. best 60 i ever did was a 1.8 on 245 nittos drag radials.

Since nobody mentioned this, I guess I will.

You can't just say you have springs, and want to get shocks and struts. That's too vague? What kind of springs? Most lowering kits will actually hurt your ET. Drag launch springs will help. Same goes for shocks and struts. If you get adjustables you have to make sure to adjust them for drag racing. You can't just get new aftermarket parts and assume they'll make you faster in the 1/4.

If you also wants some suspension parts to help dropthe et, get tubular A arms and K members. Big weight savings.

Just a ****ty ride. Not much worse than stock, though. It's the drag shocks and struts that make it ride like ****.
