Default Suspension.. ET/ Diff

As far as suspension the only thing I have is springs/ccp if I was to buy Upper and lower control arms and new shocks and struts would I really notice a difference? Anyone have any experience on ET drops with it?

yes you would notice a big difference. thatst the great thing about suspension mods, you notice EVERYTHING done. as far as e/t goes. with control arms you could knock off a tenth or 2 with some good driving.

Would you really see that much at the track from control arms? I was under the impression they didnt do much unless you had slicks or DRs. Just wondering.

your gonna see the difference in your 60' time. yes your gonna get your BEST results with good rubber, but you SHOULD cut better times regardless.

+1 for only getting the lowers. I have Steeda aluminum lowers and I hook pretty good at the track with my 4.10's and crappy street tires. I run 8.6's in the 1/8 and I attribute it to the 4.10's and LCA's.

Not to keep stealing the thread but it may be beneficial to him to. What are the suggested brands for LCAs?

i just recently got d/r's and installed some LCA's and noticed alot more traction in the back end, hooking seemed alot easiter of course. but haven't been to the track yet (crappy IAC)
