is it safe?
alright next week i am getting my car tuned its about 10 miles away so would its be safe to drive it up there with 42# injectors and the blower? i would keep it out of boost driving very slow. should i do it or pay 100 bucks to get it towed?

RE: is it safe?
Its not very hard to stay out of boost. WIth my 4.10s and my KB I can easily remain in vacuum. So if your out of boost there is really no extra strain on the motor. But with the MAF and the 42lb injector I doubt your car will run properly...did you get a start up tune from vortec?

Keep the STockers in and Drive slow to the Tune shop. Change ur injectors once u get there(early obviously) or since its only 10 miles act like your me and use my AAA for 100miles free towing
I have to drive 150 miles to get my car tuned....... even with my free 100miles towing its going to be $300........

I have tow ropes and can get a truckI've done it before but if you have AAA they should do it for free. I know with my plan I get free towing within 10 miles of my house.
Did you start it up yet?

It may not run at all on the stock tune with the 42s etc. Can the shop send you a tune etc? You should be getting a handheld anyway if you can at all, have them send you a handheld with a base tune to get ya there.
NO BOOST man, and NOTHING over about 3000 RPM. I drove mine all the way to STL like this on the base MPH tune (which ended up being final tune too though, ran perfect).
