when i am turning and slam the gas my gt makes a thudding sound that isnt pleasent...any ideas?..i think mabey yoke slipping?

where does it sound like the noise is coming from, help narrow the possiblities down here.

 

if you were getting on it and were around 3,000 rpm it was probably a coil pack going bad. had that problem with my old motor and that was what it was. get on it a little bit and it would just start to thud like you stated and miss. i think that is whats going on. did it throw a cel???
