Default If I must!

alright folks. just checked the pypes website and i guess my x pipe is fitted for shorty headers. if so, then i'm buying jba headers and doing the dirty. anyone know of instuctions for short tube header install? i did a search, but only found out that it was a biotch to do. found a how to for LTs, but not shortys(should be easier?). any suggestions? any advice would be greatly appreciated. my car is exhaustless and i'm pretty much at a stand still...

of course they're gonna say that. if they said "hard as hell to install" no one would buy it lol

i always thaught our cars have shorty headers stock that's why the x-pipes go all the way into the engine bay. But i could be wrong.

we have exhaust manifolds, then shorties, then middies, then long tubes... and yes long tubes, from what i hear, are a b*tch unless you have min a lift... if you are getting everything done that i might actually just take it somewhere to get it done as they won't really charge you cuz they have to take everything off in order to do the heads and at that point its easy for the shop to do

yea it will be a fun install... i did my bbk shorties in about 6 hrs. your gonna have to raise the engine about 3in remove the starter and a/c just take your time and make sure you have all the right tools. i must suggest you get the stage 8 header bolts and the blow proff gaskets. also you need to colapse the strearing shaft(only one bolt) driver side is easier than passenger. have fun
