Catback Questions???

Default Catback Questions???

I've been getting hounded to buy a new catback since i got my blower and now i think im gonna. Right now i have an offroad H pipe with the stock catback and weld in mufflers. I've been looking at the mac catbacks and i was wondering what size should i go with. i noticed they have 2.5" or 3". what do you guys think?

if you are under 500 hp, getting 3" exhaust wont make you anything more than the 2.5", and may even make you lose power(even though people say back pressure is a myth...). go with a 2.5" catback. if you are planning running that 500 hp, then go ahead and get the 3" in prep for it. but i would get the 2.5" if you dont plan on much more power.

it honestly doesnt matter its like saying what should i get a 70mm or a 75mm t/b? same difference
