Depends on which auto you mean, but .3 on avg would be reasonable.

I drove an auto gt for about year n half before it got totalled. I bought this5 spd with gears and all so i cant compare but the 5speed is like a hole different car. You have way more control and just way more fun. Sucks in traffic tho hah

I tested an auto & 5spd same year. 5spd wasnoticably faster, which is why I chose my current car.

You guys are funny if you think the 5 speeds are much (if any) faster than an auto.

Yes the auto has an extra 2-3% drivetrain loss but you put a shift kit and stall in the auto and good luck catching it.

People who are choosing a mustang on the 'faster transmission' will only be horribly disapointed. Get what you want.

yea dont underestimate the autos guys they shifter better than a human would .with a shift kit in the 1/4 mile get ready to get burned.i think on the street a 5spd is a whole different storycompared to an auto.

+1... i have always been an auto guy with a shift kit, TC, Trans cooler, and tune you cant beat them. I dont want to come off worng or braging but i have yet to race a 5 speed with the same mods that can keep up. Its all in what you want in your car.

i think he just meant stock....modified auto is faster than a stick...but i doubt many people make their decision of stick vs auto based on the power difference of like....10hp stock? 5spd is just more fun for me, some people seem to think its a pain to drive them in traffic, but it doesnt bother me....i actually sorta prefer it...just get whatever you like best, the speed difference really doesnt matter at all
