how do I find out what engine i have, i was looking at some patriot heads, windsor romeo?

You can always count the bolts on the valve cover, too. I forgot what number was which, though.

IIRC, Look at the tensioner on the front. If it has the single bolt through it's probably a Windsor, Romeo's had the the 3 bolt design

I don't remember myself. I think American Muscle has some "Identifying your engine" kind of thing on there.

The blocks were different on the 99-2000(windsor block) then the 2001-2004 (romeo) but ... 2004 Mustang GT torque converter broke at 29000 miles, ponyu
