Default mounting question

my friend want to use my car for some video shoot he is doing, and we wanted to get the camera inside the car as im driving(w/o any one holding it).
does any one know of a way to have the video camera stay on the dash with out any one holding it?
we thought duck tape but, theres no way and hell im taping that stuff to my dash.
is there any way to keep it stationary on the dash?

Hmmm thats a good one.....maybe try taking some suction cups, like the ones that would hold a radar detector on your windshield, and try to rig them onto the camera maybe? I dont know if it would stick to the dash, but it might stick to the windshield. Then again I dont know how big the camera is.....

Maybe some high strength velcro, usually that stuff doesnt leave behind too bad of a sticky residue and it holds pretty good.

put some painters tape on your dash, it comes of VERRY easy. then duct tape the cam to the dash(put the duct tape on the painters tape, so it nevver touches the dash)
