All you need to make those work on your engine is windsor valve covers.
Thus far, I'm looking up part numbers and it seems what you're saying may be true. I am sceptical, however. I'm going to call ford later to confirm......

Soooo... I can't believe I doubted myself. You're wrong: Nananana-naaa-na!

Haha... I just got off the phone with ford racing...... And the verdict is - the difference is that they have used different style of timing chains over the 96-04 years and they don't know which ones where installed for which years. Only thing I can say is take it apart and chance it or buy romeos. Here's the number if you want to call them directly.

800-367-3788 option 2 for technical assistance.

I have some good news... sorta. I got the heads and cams in today. The guy admits that he listed them wrong and that they are in fact windsors..

He does not want to have to pay shipping for me to ship them back to him, he said that if I provide him with a list of parts, part numbers, and the price of each that he will refund me that amount of money so that I can get them working.

sounds like he could be trying to pull a fast on you. how will you force him to pay for it after the fact? i would make him pay for shipping back because legally under ebay he has to since he posted it wrong and just wipe your hands clean from this

Honestly, I have been thinking about that the whole time. I really just need to find a set of romeo heads and be done with it.

I saw those on Ebay and then saw the box O crap and quickly clicked the back button!! lol

When I get the money, I'm going to probably get some from this guy. He told me he'd do some for the same price and shipping.

hockershpinflorida

GL on what you have! Might be best to make him take them back.

Yeah I wasn't even paying attention to all the valves and springs in the box.... I felt like an idiot.
