Sniper also lets you monitorwhat ever you wantwhile you drive through your laptop. You can play it back on the gauge screen, view in in 2d or 3d graphs and you can view it as a log. You can also rewrite your tune any way you want to and load 5 different tunes to the interface and go make runs and see which tune you like best. I have a wideband so I was able to tune my car perfect instead of rich at idle and very rich at wot, something I would have needed a tuner to fix for me before I got Sniper. Diablo just didn't have the adjustment I needed to fix my idle a/f ratio.
I learn something new then, I have no experience with the sniper, so good to know.

If you're going to get a tuner, may as well just get it dyno tuned, I'm almost sure someone in Alanta does that. Might cost another $100 but it will be worth it.
how did you know i live in atl? i actually live 10 miles from modular power house
Ummmmmmmm Hellllloooooooooo. If you live 10 minutes from MPH, then go get yourself a dyno tune from them. No question about it. I'm a sniper fan myself, that what I use. But if I had those guys even within a couple hunded miles, that where I would go to get my tuning done.

I probably overlooked this but is there anyway to run sniper with a flip chip?? I want to have a n20 tune, and one just for 87 octane daily driving.
Yes, there is a sniper "flip chip" that you can load up to 6 tunes on IIRC.

how about i just come to clarksville and you can tune mine...?
Sure if you can wait 8 months till I get back from Iraq. But you'll have to get in line, I have friends waiting to buy bullits so I can tune there cars. I have an extra wideband that I temp install to tune cars.

Yes there is a flip switch, there is also a chip/chip burner.

if money wasnt an issue, and i lived right down the street from MPH....then i would choose dyno tune from mph over everything else.

if you dont have enough money right away for the cost of the tuner, AND the cost of getting it dyno tuned, then i would just call up brenspped and have them put together some "canned" tunes for you.

if you are going the handheld tuner route, dont get diablo, unless mph tunes with that and not sct. if they tune with either/both then get sct for sure. also if you are going the handheld route, i would order from brenspeed b/c brent gets/buys all of his tuners blank. and doesnt put any tunes on them untill you/a customer calls him and tells him your/their mods and sutch...THEN he writes you 3 different tunes (87,89,93 octane), then sends it to you. most other places buy the tuners with the tunes already loaded on them from sct or diablo... now those tunes are the canned of all canned tunes and from what ive heard SUCK. and arent worth a lick.

so...in summary....mph dyno tune ftw. if you dont have quite enough cash for all of that....then brenspeed, sct.

edit: just curious.....but....the title of this post/thread - "full a full bolt on car" ...did you maybe mean - "FOR a full bolt on car"? just trying to make sense/figure out the title of the thread.
