Default Chip Mod

Anyone get a chip? Are they worth it? How much horsepower do they really boost?

A bare chip wont net you much improvement... Basically like a handheld, just less, handy

Chips come in handy for when you want to spend the money you saved for a custom tune! Thats what I am doing. And thats what I suggest you do too

A chip is a waste because you will have to pay for a dyno tuner to reflash it when ever you want to make changes. Either get a handheld (I can't believe I just said that)thata local tuner usesor get Sniper.

I would get a dyno tune. That should net you the most power. The canned tunes are iffy IMHO.

Save your money and buy your handheld from your local tuner when the car is put on the dyno. Canned tunes generally function properly, they just don't bring out nearly as much potential as someone who's reading your A/F can just to be safe.

I bought an SCT from AM when I had my GT, and wish I would've just saved my money, honestly. I'll use it again soon, when the Mach is sprayed, but it was $3XX spent too soon.
