it really quiets the car down that much at idle/cruising?.... if u guys had to say what sounds better at cruising, with longtubes or without?
im so glad i got longtubes, just for the fact that my car is not annoying as hell when im driving around. its only loud when i want it to be.

and on the subject of longtubes are the only way to go... no they are not. it depends on your application. for your n/a run of the mill mustang, yes lts are best. but for a high reving centri car, unequal length headers will PWN lts any day of the week, as far as gains.

What I don't understand is why when I called Roush to ask about headers for my 427R and if I'd have to have the Roush ECU re-flashed, they said that headers won't do anything as far as hp gain. How is that possible?
