Ok....my dilema pertains to Cobra's but im sure anyone could answer it. My car (after my brother drove it...which was my first mistake) is acting weird as hell. Once started if it is in gear with my foot on the clutch, it will stay around 1250 RPM's....but if I take it out of gear and my foot off the clutch it goes down to 750 RPM's and starts making weird noises. Yesterday it was fine and fixed but today its messing up. What could it possibly be? Cause I do have a termi, but idk what it could be. Its not the tuning cause it did not change over night. Could something have blown? could it be a spark plug? Please post answers ASAP cause this is my DD and I need it in working condition as fast as humanly possible.

 

20 views and nobody knows? I need to fix this thing.

Another thing to mention is my Boost gauge stays at 0. No vacuum or boost....just stays at 0 no matter what.

 

dude you've had a ton of problems with that car......

 

naw...just the radiator which is fixed and now the FRPS (possibly).

its all good cause I only paid $18k for it so $1k to fix it aint bad. I could sell it for $22k easily.

 

still I think I'd rather have a car that wasn't constantly falling apart....even if I got a good deal on it.

ok, thanks man. Personal opinions I suppose...yes I hate piecing it back together, but I dont mind dumping $1k into it to have this beast working right. Still a better deal than a $24k stock cobra IMO.

 

in all reality you probably have a vacuum leak and since your vacuum/boost gauge isnt working, i would suspect that would be the best first place to check.
