verts are sweet, i have an 05 hard top and a 2000 vert, i love 'em both, in the winter hard top is awesome and now in summer the drop top is perfect for the hot weather

But then move to Florida, and the winter is just as fun with a vert

HAHA yea I know exactly what you mean dude, maybe thats why insurance is sooooo crazy on bikes. I raced dirtbikes since I was 9 and been on multiple Gixxers and there just so easy to speed and get stupid...not to mention that fact that with just a simple flick of the wrist your on the back wheel. My adrenaline is pumping just thinkin about it! But yea thats about the only thing that would top the feeling of being in a vert[8D]

its all opinion. i catch crap on my local forum about it all the time.. but most of the ppl who joke about it get straight up bent over when it all hits the pavement, so i dont mind lol.

Verts are a blast to drive. There's nothing like doing 80MPH with no roof! For the difference in performance from a coupe to a vert it's not worth sacrificing the fun for a tiny bit of speed, unless you're building a track car.
It's just like guys that say "it's not how big it is, it's how you use it". Yeah we all know those are the guys that aren't up to par in the size department. (which is incinuating nothing about anyone here, I'm just using this as a comparison)
Well that's the same line of thinking with verts. The guys that have to make up excuses why verts suck, are the same guys that deep down inside wish they had one.
