Umm yea lots of people have them, it's just a prefrence. Kinda like the 5spd vs. auto. But honestly if the ONLY reason you bought it was because it's a GT then I dont really think it was a smart buy. Verts are heavy, cold in the winter, the tops can go bad, and they can get slit by punk a$$ kids. GT coupes are pretty easy to come by if you just wanted a GT

hey now...i LOVE my vert! im the only kid at school wit one...nd its awesome...and idk where you got "verts are for girls", chicks dig the vert . and they aren't THAT much heavier...i beat all the GT coupes in my area, so weight isn't an issue.

How long exactly were you looking for a GT if you bought a vert just because it was a GT?

FYI, vert's are only another 150 pounds heavier than a coupe.

Like one guy already said, it's about personal preference. You bought one, you should like it since you spent money on it. I don't get this question... are you asking what other people think to see what you think? You shouldn't care what others think. I personaly love driving it on the street in the summer with the top down, although i mostly have my car set up to race. but i would not have half as much fun driving on the street with a hard top, as i do with my vert.

I own one but refuse to drive it. JMO but verts pull chicks, but I settled for a coupe because I have a wife and don't need to pick up chicks anymore.
There, I fixed your post![8D]

Verts are a blast to drive. There's nothing like doing 80MPH with no roof! For the difference in performance from a coupe to a vert it's not worth sacrificing the fun for a tiny bit of speed, unless you're building a track car.

It's just like guys that say "it's not how big it is, it's how you use it". Yeah we all know those are the guys that aren't up to par in the size department. (which is incinuating nothing about anyone here, I'm just using this as a comparison)

Well that's the same line of thinking with verts. The guys that have to make up excuses why verts suck, are the same guys that deep down inside wish they had one.

verts are sweet, i have an 05 hard top and a 2000 vert, i love 'em both, in the winter hard top is awesome and now in summer the drop top is perfect for the hot weather
