I would do it just so you don't have a dead gauge in your dash (looks ****ty). Hook your autometer into the driverside of the block.

Does your npi intake have the aluminum crossover? I thought you could swap the npi crossover with the pi crossover.

I taped into my WP line going into my Heater core. Works great and it's out of the way.

I did the same thing on my first build but I heard somewhere that wasn't the most effective method. Seemed to always work for me though.

Yeah, I read a few posts that said one thing or another... I don't have any issues and I run lots of timing and my laser temp gauge puts my back cylinders at the same temp as my front so I think people are trying to over think fluid dynamics to sound smart. I wish I would have gotten a reading before the coolant mod for comparrison. But either way it's all even and it's all good.

How sensitive are the sensors?? Has anyone physically checked coolant temps to see if the gauges were on?? Just wondering, since I've seen cases where engines were low on coolant, so it was mostly steam/vapor that kept the sensor pegged to normal operating temps, yet the system was half full at best...
