thanks guys and 2k1gt will those springs fit a 2000 gt vert. im just curious b/c on am.com they make seperate versions for coupe and vert

The parts #s are the same on the Eibach website so I'm pretty sure they will work with the the coupe or convertible

yes you will need to get the cc plates with that much of a drop and you might want to think about getting some shocks and struts. i did and i wouldnt have it any other way.

Anything over a 1.5" drop most people need CC plates.

Do you NEED them? No. You can lower your car without them and it won't blow up or anything. Are they recommended? Yes.

As you can see from the sig, my car is lowered quite a bit and I don't have new shocks/struts or C/C plates and i'm still running strong 40k miles after the install.

They allow for you Caster and Camber to be adjusted more... hints C/C plates.

When you're car gets lowered, it gets out of alignment, so the CC plates allow for more adjustment.
