You'll have big scratch marks and bare stainless steel where the clips go trough the pin hole and hit the top plate just from usage and vibration.

you have them so you don't get a face full of hood if thelatch fails when you are going 150mph

ok im gonna leave them how they are and hope it doest look bad...ive had my hood pop up at 65 before, the latch saved it, but scared me ****less...not willing to risk it

$15at joe heck. Not bad if they bother you. And im with you on the the hood popping up. Its scary shizz. Looking to get the ford racing ones myself

I have hood pins on my blacked out stang, actually the polished look looks great and gives it some accent in my own opinion.
