I have the predator and love it. However, not many shops have a compatible dyno for diablosport.

Sniper is just as simple as diablo or sct. It asks you questions you answer then load the tune. The wideband and all that other tuning is for later when you feel like fine tuning. Its no different then tunning with the other 2 except you will have alot more control when you need it. Seriously I can give my 8 y/o son the list of mods on my car and he could write the tune. And they have the best customer service of any aftermarket parts company I have ever dealt with. I lost my 2 stock tunes for my cars when my laptop died and they sent me new ones to replace them as soon as I asked about it on the forums.

Things you can do with sniper and not with sct or diablo:

Data log with live gauges on your laptop and it records for playback later or shown in 3d/2d graph or excel like format
adjust global fuel- get rid of that rich smell at idle from o/r pipes and create a good gas mileage tune
adjust global spark- also get rid of gas smell and create more power and better idle
tune for aftermarket cams
tune for aftermarket injectors (sctx3 can)
tune for aftermarket MAF(sct x3 can)
tune for return style fuel system
turn off PATS - ever wanted to install cobra gauges?
tune when you add a catback or any other exhaust piece- even asks if its x or h
adjust fuel pressure on returnless system
part the red sea

Just a few off the top of my head. I havent looked in a while at it.
Well maybe not the last one but maybe soon.

Sniper is also talking about possibly coming out with tune on the fly. All updates are free

Holy crap almost forgot the best part. You can tune 2 cars with it (huge list of tuneable cars) with the initial purchase and 3000 cars when you buy extra bullits. All with the one interface and software.

actually you can adjust global spark with an x-cal. you can with mine anyway.

and thats cool that the sniper can do all of that extra stuff.....but in my case....i have no need for any of that. i slapped my tune on...bumped up the timing, and i was pretty much done with it.

i dont have a laptop so i dont datalog....which you can do with the x-cal. not sure if it has "live gauges" or not....but who cares....oooh look at the pretty lights. it still data logs the same.

have no need to tune for injectors on my n/a bolt on car....or a MAF...or cams....have no need to mess with return style fuel settings....no need to mess with PATS. no ive never wanted to install cobra gauges. ..or any of that. 90% of that stuff is stuff i have no business messing with anyway.

x-cal was perfect for me.

im sure there are some people out there, that the sniper is perfect for....and for some other people, the hand helds might be their right choice.

For boring stock cars with no intention on ever making them fast get diablo or SCT. Everybody else get sniper.

the main thing that sold me on sniper, was their amazing customer service. They are VERY knowlegable, and seem genuinley excited about making your car preform to the best of its ability.
