oh i didnt think of that....good idea....and yea they are

ill hang them up in the garage and tie something to them...dont have a light source to use, but it gets pretty toasty in my garage...

ok thanks for the heads up....headed to jegs now to buy another hood pin kit...it went up $10 since i bought these ones in december [:@]


and my moms cars check engine light is on so i gotta try to deal with that ****...if anyone knows anything about mazdas shoot me a PM please and ill tell you the code when i get back

That's good, but might still need to find something that will warm them up a bit more. You now how a hose is when the sun hits it.

and update the sig when they comply with your OCD.

lol its more than ocd...one side of the hood is so tight it has no play, the other side you can lift and lower 1/2"

You should have gotten black hood pins, those don't look right on your car at all...

How about you ziptie the lanyardsdown under the hood, or hold them down somehow so they only come out as much to make it around the hood and up to the clips. Know what I mean?

+1 on hanging them and using a heat source. I would use a hair dryer. Those things can get pretty hot, so dont get it too close or leave it in one spot for too long.

At first I thought it was just wire and was going to suggest runningthem through a hose.

I didnt use them on my hood pins. The day after I put them on, a pin fell out. They were real cheap and I plan on ordering some new ones. ANyone know where to get some good ones cheap?
