My car is going into the shop to get fixed here in the next week or so and i was wondering. Has anyone painted the black plastic piece that is at the bottom of the windshield that the windshield whipper blades attach to. i am thinking of painting it the same color as my car to match my painted mirrors? if you have painted it do you guys have any pictures of this? anyone think this will look good. the reason my car is already going into the shop is... someone hit the front fender and dented it and broke the mirror. AND someone broke into the car by breaking the door lock so im shaving the lock on the door.

 

i want to see some pics when you get the cowl painted!!! ive been thinking about doing this too

 

i know me to i was looking at it the other day and was like wow that would look good painted but i was hoping someone had already done it so i could see if its worth it haha

 

i want to say that there was a mineral grey stang on here that had that and there mirrors done at the same time and posted a bunch of pics but i cant rember who it was. just keep bumping the post and maybe someone will find us a pic!

I would think that it would be too rough to look good painted. Just my .02

they painted my mirrors and they turned out really good. till one got broke. hmmmmm

 

Well, take some pictures of your car, in that particular area, and submit it to the Chop Shop section on this board. Should be pretty easy for those guys to chop that on there.

 

Sounds really weird, but interesting. I'd have to see it with the painted mirrors and all.
