ok here are the pictures sorry my car is dirty and its with my camera phone so you could get them quicker. the top one is the mirror the bottom one is the piece i am thinking about painting. yes they are the stock gt mirrors

I thought about making mine smooth with just the 2 holes for the windshield wipers and the nozzles since i broke mine and cant find one under $160.

Well those mirrors look preety sweet. I would say go for it. IMO there would have to be some sort of black seperating the painted part from the glass, but there looks like there is a black rubber part running across the shield to do that, so it should look proper. I think the red should definately be able to pull it off. I don't know if mineral gray would be able to pull it off though.

How is the finish on the mirrirs. It looks shiny from far away, but can you see the bumps from up close?
