pypes is bad ***... cheap and itts good stuff

 

Ive got pypes lt's, shorty O/R Hand the quality is fine. Like said before, dont expect different gains from the different brands....

 

you could go all pypes and buy their longtubes, o/r shortie h, and the violator catback. the catback is polished and quality is great. not to mention a decently cheap price.

 

while on the subject of changing exhaust,Since I have a predator tuner, can I turn off the back 02 sensors and eliminate the need for mil eliminators when I install a system?? This is on a 03 gt btw..

 

Yes you can turn off the rear o2's with a handheld.

 

Question so if i put ina o/r mid pipe, i could just borrow my friends handheld and turn off the o2 senor check engine light wont come on and i can give him his scanner back. will u pass emmisons i know the code will be gone.

 

i have the there o/r x pipe and it seems to be doing well for me. good quality.

you cant borrow a friends tuner because its already tuned to his car and he would have to return the tune to stock in order for you to have any use for that tuner. so the answer is a no.

 

Update: My friend has an 02 gt with K&n air filter and a Pypes o/r x pipe, thats the only mods. I have 03 gt with k&n,75mm tb,c&l plenum,93 octane tune.
We raced several times before he installed the x pipe and I beat him by 2 car lenghts. We raced last night after the x pipe install and he beat me by 1 car. I had him beat untill I made the 3rd gear shift and he pulled back on me and went by. We raced several times,with this happening every time. We race every time one of us makes a mod to see what works for these motors. Here is the thing we are having trouble calculating. I weigh 90 lbs more than him(230) he weighs 140 and I had a full tank and he had 1/4 tank. If we both had full tanks and he added 90 lbs of weight, I think I would have beat him. I guess the only way to really tell how much mods are helping would be to go to a dyno,but we have fun racing.....
