friend of mine just got one, and I helped him install the fuel pump and a few other things. No dyno numbers yet, but it looked good and other than the self contained part I can't imagine its much/any different than a SQ

nope, why would it? non self contained is a beter system for performance, reliability, and it's more elegant *read=simple*, the self contained units are for people who are too lazy or cheap to do it the right way

Yes because I would like to have a motor/blower grenade and have a chance of the resulting shrapnel going through the rest of the system.

Is that also why Vortech S/SQ trims flow less CFM's of air than an entry level ATI headunit and you have to upgrade to a T trim just to match the output of a P1? Or the fact that the "next step up" D1 outflows the "next step up" T-trim?

I can post my sources of information. Can you?

get your engineering degree and then we'll talk, i'm not going to sit here and argue my point to someone who is relying on some idiots information, who doesn't know how to think for himself. Last time I checked, there isn't a turbo on the market that has a self contained oiling system.

Edit: I'll explain a few points, your using some stupid information if you think your right. I have never seen a P1-sc get to anywhere near the power output I'm running, and to be running safely (I'm running a t-trim). I still have two smaller pulleys I can go to, and I still won't be spinning the blower at it's maximum rated speed (yeah, I did the math, have you?)

by the way, how much the blower flows isn't the only thing that matters. anyway, find a P1-SC blower that is putting out 550rwhp on a car that is running stage II heads and cams, and can still run more power, not to mention I'm running through an automatic.
