IAC Mod CEL?
I did the IAC mod over the weekend, and so far, I love it. The only thing is my CEL popped up. I'm assuming this is normally being that I changed the read of a sensor, but I figured I'd check with you guys to make sure. Normal??
did you remove your battery cable while you did it
also i did this and it kept triggering my check engine light and my cousin did it and it was messing with his idle big time so we both took ours out

I did mine awhile back and nothing happened. It worked like a charm. I have no idea why your CIL appeared did you try to unhook your positive terminal and reconnect to see if it goes away? Get a scanner to and see what code it is throwing..Hope you figure it out!
your probably getting a idle adaptation at limit code
your idling high and the computers like whats goin" on
i got past the cel what really bothered me was the horrible cracking and popping i got every time i let off the throttle

For everyone that keeps asking "what is the IAC mod?" You guys need to learn how to utilize the forums How To section which is a sticky at the top of the Tech page. Here is the IAC mod
OP, try to disconnect your batter for about 10 minutes and see if the code comes back up. I've also done this mod before and taken it off because of other problems that it causes, just a little FYI.

Read the code, running about blind-folded making guesses is completely non-productive. You can buy a fairly competent code reader at Harbour Freight for $40 when it's on sale; which is almost always...
Cool, I'll see what code it's throwing. As far as other problems, the only thing I notice is that for the first 5 minutes I'm running off a cold start it idles just a hair about 500. Other than that, it holds a good idle, haven't had any other problems with it, what kind of problems was it causing you guys?
