Default purchase a 04 gt or 04 mach 1

I am looking now to either buy a mach 1 or gt. The thing is that i want an automatic transmisson but finding a mach 1 with low miles is impossible. Also i figure i could get an auto gt on the cheap and put a vortech blower in it. What do you guys think i should do. Ive driven a mach 1 before and loved the way it drove so im curious how much different is it than the gt.

Did u seriously ask if anyone drove a GT? lol.... Go with a MACH. It breaths better, you will notice bolt ons more, and you simply will make more power.

the car rode fine, even for a dd id get a manual, mach 1 clutches aren't very stiff and then your car wont be limited to 137 mph and have a non forged crank

I believe that he is referring to the governor, not the horse power limiting you to that.

I bought an auto, not because i cant drive a manual or because thats all i could find. About a year and a half ago i tore my acl in my left knee and the clutch just wont help the situation. Anyway, i am very happy with the auto, mainly b/c its a daily driver, but lets just say that i dont regret getting it.

I have a auto mach, no regrets. I wont turn this into a debate because any car can be made faster, but manuals will be quicker stock.

I doubt anyone has driven a GT here. Maybe check over on the Camaro Forums.
OK back on topic. For my $ I would buy a Mach1. Better Engine, brakes, interior, and Styling
