i just bought a set of new oem headlights for my 01 gt and it came with texon 8000k blue white bulbs. they look good as hell at night but even with the brights on i cant see a damn thing......are these true hid bulbs that need the ballisters etc or are they just POS's?

if they were real bixenon HID you'd see a ballest and all the other wiring behind the head light. other wise its just a am bulb

 

They are just halogen bulbs not HIDs.

 

ya it is just a bulb but they have gotten a little better im guessing they had to heat up a few times but who knows i think im about to trash them

 

They are POS's. I had them and I couldn't see S**T either. I got Sylvania Silverstar Ultras and they are better, but I'm upgrading to HIDs shortly so that will be 3x better I can't wait!
