That's a good idea. I'm trying to avoid the expense though.

 

a mark VIII block,cobra crank,03-04 cobra pistons and rods, a 96-98 cobra intake and a nice set of cams could be done for 2000.00 then you would just have to get a tubular k member and get the wiring and trans sorted out and you would have a bad fox body!!! im just saying.................but i really understand the whole money thing all to well. good luck to ya. p.s. i have a 95 mark VIII im trying to sell for a grand!!!!! lol

yes he is and i love the idea!!!! if i didnt have to sell the mark because of where im moving, id buy a fox body and drop the engine out of the lincoln into it!!!

 

It won't take but ~400rwhp to go low 7's. If it's gonna be a stalled auto stripped down drag car, it won't even need 400

I'm not sure exactly. All he told me was that he was 185 miles from Mobile AL.

 

It's going to be a full body car. I'm not sure if I'll go ahead and mess with the motor or not. I may get me another four wheeler and just paint the car for a good looking DD for now. I can't do both and I love both.

 

Srry for thread jacking but i heard the 88's came with forged internals. is this true? if it is how much can those handle?
